Equitable Access

Equitable access to technology should be the cornerstone of technology education in America today. It means ensuring that all students have the ability to utilize digital means to enhance their learning, regardless of region, race, sexuality, or economic status.

What if technology sources are limited? Then teachers should work out a scheduling system to ensure equal access.  One suggestion for older students would be to have a check-out system on a weekly basis to track the time each student is able to use the resource. At the elementary level, an easier option is to assign students certain days of the week to complete technology-based projects.
